Default Thinnking about a PY get together in SE pa

I live in Richboro Pa. and was thinking about having a small get together at my house for fellow pontiacers sort of to see the faces behind the posts, who would up for this? None of my friends are into cars and I need my fix. I figure it would be on a sunday for a few hours. Maybe do some grilling, shoot the breeze and show off our rides. The wife is OK with the idea and the neighbors are cool with it. I plan for May 30 or June 6.
I figure I could fit 16 or so cars out front, I don't know what I am getting myself into here but it would be pretty cool.

Anyone interested?

Personally, the 30th would be better as Monday is not a work day for me...

Have to see how long of a drive that is though... have a feeling you're about 6 hours or more away. That might be a bit much for a day trip...

If I get the LeMans back on the road, I'd be interested.

I'd love to, but my wagon is not yet road worthy....I'm gonna have to wait.

I'd be up for it depending on how many others are going to show up.
I'm in Langhorne so, 20 minute ride.

I'm still tying to get the car back on the road.
Been installing a vacuum pump system and, have had to fab a few pieces.
Hopefully get it running this week. We'll see...

I'm really pissed that I'm not going to make HPP day at E-town this coming weekend.
Especially since I'm the P2 champ from last October.... Oh well....

I'm not a big poster, probably because I am usually asking for help not giving it

A lot of things would have to fall into place but I could possibly drive up if it is on the 30th. No promises though, it is a good drive from Bethany, DE. I would like meeting people also though and think it is a good idea.

Well I'm not expecting anyone to drive super long distances, though I would admire your efforts, I do know there are quite a few members here locally for me. We'll see hopefully enough people would be interested as to not overwhelm my barbeque grill.

Sounds great, I'd love to join in if invited. May 30th would be best for me as I'll be in Reading, PA for the WWII Weekend on June 4th, 5th, and 6th. Won't be home until real late that Sunday.

Tell us what to bring Pete so we can help out with the fixins. Want wives tagging along?

You do know don't ya, the faces might scare ya to death. LOL

BTW... you guys get over to the BOP/Cadillac Show next Saturday, May 22nd, in Malvern, PA if you can. Call it a preemptive strike. This is nice little show and no Fords, Chebbies, Chyslers allowed... tho one MGB will be there for an obvious reason I can't disclose at this time.... you gotta see it first hand. I have a post in the Events section with a regisrtation form and directions. My ugly puss will be there. There, that ought ta scare ya.

I'd be there. I'm in Langhorne area and could bring the Formula...or the wifes 79 T/A. Unfortunately, the 70 GTO in the Avatar is still on casters in the garage sans interior and dash.

I think in all fairness to your wife I would want to bring something to contribute to the festivities, or perhaps some drinks?

Wives are welcome, absolutely. ANything you would like to bring would be great, we can settle on the details this week when I get an idea of how many people are interested. The 30 is the date then, I figure around 12-1:00 start time.

Matt, glad to hear you are coming as well. We'll finally have a chance to meet even though we probably live less than a mile apart!

Pete, what can I bring?

Welll....
I have a grill and was thinking of doing burgers and doggies, Something simple, if anyone would like to bring beverages or a snack that would be great. Any contribution would be of benefit to the whole event.
Maybe a chair or 2 because I only have about 9 chairs total. LOL.

As far as the burn out box goes, i'm up for it though I would have to poll the immediate neighbors. Just don't get burned rubber all over the house LOL. I was thinking of inviting the owner of the salvage yard down the street from me as well he is a huge pontiac fan-owns about 6 of them, and is currently working on a 66 cat convertable and a 72 lemans convert enduro. He has a lot of oddball stuff.

Not too bad about 6-7 people are definitely interested and 2-3 on the fence. I figure I can fit 10-11 cars in the yard. and 1-2 in the drive.

I think it would be cool to see the faces behind the posters though if you are all local I probably recognize your car first.

PontiacPetey's Drive-in and Car Show. Sounds great.

How's soda Pete and what brand? I don't drink and drive so Pepsi does it for me. I can bring a cooler with Pepsi, Coke and/or whatever. Or I can pickup 4 or 5 packages of Ball Park Franks, or your preferred brand and buns.

I wish I had a gallon of the Michigan sauce we just sold or I'd bring up a gallon of that for the "dogz". Nothing like a NY Michigan at a picnic.
