Default LED tail lights ?

Anyone have one of the after market LED tail light kits on their car?? I'm curious how you like it and which one you installed ??? Specifically a 67/8 version.

I installed leds on mine last year and I love them. Takes about three hours to install. If your handy its not hard. I got them from www.spaghettiengineering.com . go to the web site and it will show you how they will work its cool. Good luck

I've seen them on a local car. He had them setup for sequential mode (you can run them in normal mode as well). Even on a nice sunny day, they definitely grab your attention far better than the stock setup.

Not only that, but LEDs in general will come on faster than conventional taillights. On European cars, many started out with LED 3rd brake lights and conventional tails, and you could see the 3rd light respond first (it's quick, but visible to the human eye). That could mean a few extra feet of response time to the driver behind you (which can be the difference of getting rearended or not).

So its more than just a cosmetic thing, it can help for safety as well. I plan to get them.

those are the best, not cheap, and still a year away from me putting on the camaro. i think the fast on/off of led's benefits in the 'attention getting' category, as it's not usual in nature to see lights come on and go off that fast.

LED bulbs are sold at electrical stores, both single and dual element to replace the stock bulbs, but, unless you want your tail lights to look pink, you need to get the red bulbs. I replaced mine several years ago and have yet to use any of the spares that I bought. They're not cheap, but they last a long time.
