Default BEST CLUTCH ASSEMBLY FOR MY 66 TRI POWER

Finaly getting around to installing my rebuilt tripower engine in my gto but need a new clutch assembly. With all the new clutches out I need some suggestions. Any help is appreciated. Just going to be a weekend driver and smoking the tires often.

I have had good luck with CenterForce clutches.

The light pedal is really appreciated.

I have successfully used both the Center Force Dual Friction and McLeod clutches.

i went from a CFII to a ram progrip, on my slightly modified '64, and like it much. it's a little harder peddle, but i like the way it locks up sooner than the CF.

You may like that hard engagement but your driveline doesnt.

I ran both of mine hard on the street, and occasionally at the track. The car was running 10.80 at about 130, so the clutch took some abuse.

I run a RAM as well with no issues to complain about. I experienced a little clutch chatter at the beginning but no longer. A Center Force Dual Friction is also very popular.
