I bought a cheapo FM antanna from ebay but I don't like it.

I mostly don't like the the way it mounts on the underside of the fender.

What have you guys bought that you like?

I purchased a repo antenna from Classic for $50. Should be in tomorow. It looks to have many stock appearing parts.

I got the '69 repo kit from NPD, looks sharp on the car and works well. The angle of the top part seemed excessive out of the box, but once mounted it's exactly right at about 5* inboard when looking from the front, and near vertical from the side (per assembly manual).

Here is the antenna I got from CI.
It was a very good quality pice. Most likeley the nicesest thing I ever got from CI. Heavy cast pieces with good quality chrome. It came with the rubber groment on the cable. Perfect fit too. well worth the $50 I spent.

I agree, the antenna I purchased for my '69 was also from Classic I believe and was very nice quality, and works fantastic.

I'm in the same boat as you...working every day for the past few weeks getting my interior done for this season...argh..it's alot of work. It'll all be worth the effort soon!!
