1960 Headers
Anyone know if any headers fit the 59/60 chassis with stock 389?

None will fit. I had a set of headman 3 tubes that fit BARELY if you cut the collector as far back as you can and then go under the frame but then the exhaust is too low and it will be a speedbump catcher. It still hit the starter and probably wouldn't work with an automatic since it's so close to the gear selector tab on the steering column and I'm unsure if they would clear the linkage.
I think Hedman made headers back in the day and apparently Dougs made a set of fenderwell exits. It would be pretty much impossible to find a set  I think those were Summit 4 tubes I tried to make work, I think they hit the starter  3 tubes I modified to fit but going under the frame, they're way too low  I can't remember which ones these were but I think this was a problem on more than one set. I also tried a set of Hedman 4 tubes but they hit the pitman arm. I got sick of trying to modify off the shelf headers and made these
