The 8 lugs look like they are from a 64.

I still can't believe the deal you got on that car!!

I wish that mine was half as good as your's when I got mine.

I must have missed out on a previous post about this car.

Noticing some differences between your Bonne and my Catalina:
You have a fan shroud, mine doesn't (2 bbl), would that have been added due to it being a Bonne or the 3x2, or?
I assume that alternator was added, mine is a generator.

WOW, that thing is sweet! Buckets and Tri power...must be nice

If it's anything like Buicks, the AC cars got the shrouds. I believe 62 was the first year for the alternator.

Late 62 with A/C got an alternator.

My 60 with 3x2 has a shroud too. Maybe it had HD cooling?

I was just thinking that there may have been a HD cooling option, maybe standard with 3x2? My 60 with 2 bbl has a 2 row rad no shroud, is your 3x2 a 3 row?
I did notice that there are holes present that would allow the installation of a shroud.

I was reading yesterday that leather was standard on a 60 Bonneville convert and buckets were an option. Geez, quite a difference in interior from a Bonne to a Cat. My Cat doesn't even have ash trays in the rear arm rests

The hi-beams could be aircraft landing lights, typical add-on during the '60's.

Very nice car. I keep going back to look at that under dash gauge panel - I've never seen one like it before.

I would think that's an aftermarket add on.

Nice..with a little rust repair it'll be a knockout. Is that paint dark blue? Something tells me a Bonneville with red interior probably didn't originally come with dark blue paint, eh?
Maybe it's black and only looks blue in the photos?
I can see it ultra black, dropped a little with polished-fins on the 8 lugs and a black rag top...would be a stunner.

Ya, I've been told by numerous people that those are '64 8 lugs. Guess they had problems with the early ones so someone changed them out before my grandparents bought it in the early 70's. The car needs a lot of work to the bottom side of the car from sitting on the concrete for 30 years, but all in all not bad shape at all....

yes, the alternator replaced the generator, think it was changed over in the late 70's (when I was born lol) my 3 other '60's dont have shrouds either
