Default 70 GTO JUDGE ride along movie

Incase you missed this in the lobby a while ago, thought I would post here.

I bought an onboard camera and have been shooting footage when I drive my cars. I then use MS moviemaker to make a film. The sound is limited because the camera is in a water/windproof box, but the video is kinda cool.
This last one took me 3 hours of editing!

There is more there in my videos to see....

Enjoy,

JOHN

Is it just some little computer camera with a suction cup,
what are you using for an onboard camera?

Pretty neat.

Do you really think it's numbers matching all original?"

It's a pretty cool piece. The camera, which includes various mounts, is a Go-Pro Motorsports hero wide. It is designed for use as an automotive on board camera.
The multi positionable suction cup mount, is stout, to say the least. I have been confidently doing over 120 with it mounted. The drawback, is because it is windproof and waterproof to 100 ft. (i have made a couple of movies of my 71 woody), the sound is muted. But they have sorted this out pretty nicely and it doesn't brake the bank.
The tough part is editing a movie that keeps the avg. viewers attention. Setting and editing it to some cool tunes is challenging, but worth the effort.

Have you seen the others, they are on you tube as well.

Very nice movie, perhaps mount the camera on the roof overlooking the rear wing as in multiple shots already taken and do a nice smoky burnout concentrating on the black tire stripes left behind. This would be a nice addition to an already nice clip. Good job & Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for posting. Very neat videos.

This is a breath of fresh air to the Judge forum which lately has been kinda quiet IMO.

My suggestion; turn down the music volume a bit, so we can hear that engine a little more!

Nice video. Not just your 'average' on board cam. Good work!

Thanks! Believe me, I would love to hear almost all engine. The onboard, to battle windnoise, is sealed in a wind and waterproof box and gets very little clean sound. In a movie like that, There are over 100 edits, and at each edit I adjust the volume manually! That alone takes me half an hour. IF you turn up video sound its just wind noise mostly. I don't want hear wind.....I want motor too. But at my budget, this is the best I can do.

Hear is a short one with a regular camera and sound..
Enjoy...and turn this one up!

Super Video with a Killer song.

Nice garage collection as well!

I liked the shot where your son was in his seat, looking around and "cruising" too.
He was eating it up!

Thanks for sharing the video. One of the parts that stands out is when the camera is mounted on the drivers door and when opened, focus is on THE JUDGE .....well done and yes, awesome garage too!
