Looking for front fenders for 68 gto,some say repop fenders dont fit. Others say second edition ok,i am confused. How do i tell second attempt from first? Has anyone had first hand experience? thanks

If you can find originals, even if they need to have the lower section repaired, you'll be better off. To make the repops work will require lots of time/effort/dollars. Besides, they are constructed of thinner gauge steel than the originals also. I sold mine and found originals that needed work and repaired them. You'll be better off doing so!

if you don't know a GOOD bodyman...find originals. If you do know one...use Dynacorn. Gold Star or Golden Legions are pretty flimsy pieces. Just an FYI. Good luck. Ron

Originals aren't at all hard to come by (They musta made about a million of 'em) and most are, like Kurt pointed out, rusted just at the bottom dog leg. That's what I've got on mine...repaired originals.
PY and Ames have some real decent patches for that area that include the brace.
