Default Dash Options???

Dash Specialists (Medford, OR.), Nice guy very friendly quoted $715 incl. 1-way shipping and handling. Answered phone on 1st call. 4-6 weeks. Don't know about quality.

Just Dashes (Van Nuys, CA.) Had to call toll free and local 818 number several times and let ring a LONG time to get a hurried answer of $850 (don't know if that included return shipping or handling) and a 4-6 week turnaround.

Ultimate Rides (El Paso, TX.) No answer, machine full tough luck G.I. Tried toll free number, no known email or internet address. Basically MIA.

I've not heard anything bad about Just Dashes except the cost and time, quality is always reportedly great.

Any suggestions?

there is also Dashboard Restorations in Washington State but they will likely be in the same range with the place in Oregon and reports on their work are mixed. For the small difference I would go with Just Dashes in a heartbeat.

I had ultimate rides just do a dash for my 70 GTO after the third time they got it right.First one had no vents on the sides after speaking with them the day they made it and they asked vent or no vent they still got it wrong.Second dash you could see a outline of were the pontiac emblem would go over the glove box door and the best was the framing for the dash cluster looked like it was hit with a sledge hammer, the bezel wouldn't even fit.Third one was good and will use that one. They told me three week turn around this whole mess toke two months. They wouldn't send a dash out until they received theres back even though it was there mess up.There packaging sucks with one wrap of bubble wrap and a box and there customer service sucks they never pick up the phone or call back, quality control sucks and they painted my glove box door gloss black so now I have to strip that and fix it.And don't expect to get back the core you send them just my two cents

Sent my 70 GTO dash to Ultimate Rides back in April but did not like what I was hearing, got cold feet and was lucky enough to have them send my original core back to me in May which I then sent to Just Dashes. I spoke to Just Dashes June 8 to verify that they got my dash and they said it would be 10-12 weeks, which would make the completion date August 17-31, and they use the core you send them. They don't charge your credit card until they start working on your dash and once they start it takes a couple weeks. They charged my credit card July 24 which means it is on schedule.

I used Dash Specialists for my 73 cougar conv and have had the pad in for 10 years and it still looks excellent. It has held up great and they dyed it Blue.
