Default Aluminum rad for Trans Am

Today I called PY to ask about the aluminum rad for my 75 TA - I asked for the specs and was told it is the same as the hd copper desert rad. This does not sound correct to me as most aluminum rads have larger tubes. Could someone at PY provide me with the proper specs so I can compare their rad with other brands.

Thanks

You are correct. The Aluminum is different. I think 2 1" tubes but Ed will post tomorrow to confirm. I can tell you that the tanks are stamped like original and the welding quality is 2nd to none.

Hi,
The aluminum rads that we sell are 2 rows of 1" tubing as stated by CCASS and they have 18 fins per inch. Tanks are die stamped and cores contain no epoxy.

Here is the picture I took of the 70-81 aluminum rad. The Part# is RFE19L
