Default 1500 sand?

Getting ready to apply the third coat of clear over 2 coats of metalic clear. Paint is the paint shop duplicolor.

Had alot of trouble keeping paint flow on metalic clear. Had this on my roof also.

Main question is would a finish wet sand of 1500 grit before buffing be ok?

Thanks all.

The stuff that has been on this site has helped alot.

You might want to go over it with 2000 after the 1500. It will make working with the buffing compound go much better, especially if it's a darker color.
