Default Anyone have pics of blackwall tires on Rally II's?

I'm wondering what my GTO would look like with blackwall tires on the Rally II's. Anyone have pics if you do run this combo?
Thanks!

I might have pics of the '73 ventura with the rally II's and blackwalls...

If you run 'em that way,I highly recommend running them without the trim rings, they just look meaner that way, kinda like the way the judge looked with no trim rings.

Of course that's assuming they have'nt had rings put on them yet, otherwise you'll need the rings to hide the scratched paint on the rims.

Personally I feel that "look" is badass.

Also prefer the red center caps and lugs too.

I'll see if I can dig up any pics and scan them to post here.

Thanks Brett. That would be great!
I just picked up a set of 15" R II's that were just painted not too long ago,so no trim ring scratches on them yet (I don't have any 15" rings anyway),and I have a brand new set of the red center caps on the shelf that I was going to put on them too. Problem is I have a used set of 255/60/15's for the back, but don't know if I'll find a matching set for the front, and I hate mis-matched white letter tires.I figure the blackwall look might work, but hard to picture laying the tire up to the car.

Now remember it's not the best picture quality, all my photos were smoke damaged from a house fire not too long ago.

And the pic was just a quick shot of the car with a cheapo camera (no digitals back then yet),so dont expect anything super detailed.

But here is the '73 shortly after I got it and cleaned it up and got rid of the full wheel covers and thin whitewalls.

BTW,this pic has the late model brushed aluminum caps on it,later on they were replaced by repro red centers, these were borrowed from a friend just for the time being.

Here's mine before I repainted it and switched to poverty caps. The rings aren't correct, but they were stainless and free at the time I built the car.

My 66 Post with blackwalls and Rally II's since switched over to steel and poverty caps.
Must be a lot of Rally II's on the market.

Thanks guys. Great pics. I'm gonna mount them blackwall, that way I don't have to get matching brands from front to back.

Sorry for the late response. I love the look, I think its aggressive, especially without the trim rings.
Here is a pic of mine.

Thanks.
I actually did the rear already.I think it looks sharp. Looks kind of dumb at the moment with whitewalls on the front, but oh well. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

Not the greatest pics because the car was still in the garage, but here is the before and after. I like it alot better than the whitewalls for sure!

The trim rings make them look wider that they are. I used medium charcoal for the gray. They make a dark charcoal also.

Blackwalls and rally 2's on a B body.

I'm actually thinking of going to white walls or redlines with the next set of tires.
