Default '67 Quadrajet...Why???

Why would anyone bid on this? For parts?

I won't go into all the things wrong just in case the re-stamper is a member. I'm just perplexed because I see good carbs going for much less.

Maybe because they don't know that 67's had the number stamped in a round metal tag?

Maybe because it´s got all the wrong parts and:

"Carburetor was originally a Pontiac carburetor that has been converted internally and renumbered to a desirable 7027263 VD Date Code is B7 or February 1967. This unit was remanufactured to factory specifications."

You have NO idea what you´re buying?

Are you implying a re-stamper might cheat? That's why I liked it when Ebay gave the actual bidder's name.
