462 + 041 + Q-JET = CLIFF question
Hi,
spécial for Cliff, but others can answer my combo 462, 1968 #16 ported heads, 10,3:1, 041 cam, perf RPM and Q-JET. just starting my 462 with "new" heads and keep my old q-jet to break-ni the cam with a well known carb i use the recipe 2 and don't if it's enough for my combo ? q-jet is 17081287 jet 75, primary rods 44 secondary rods : AX mixture are 2,5 open vaccum is 11 in-hg at 850 rpm pics of the engine (not finish but running) |

We use and recomend the third "recipe" for the 455 engine at that compression ratio using the 041 camshaft......Cliff
