Default Now dont crucify me for this.. question.

so that lemans hood i was going to buy someone snaked me out before i could buy it...

i REALLY need to get another temporary hood that is CHEAP to cover the engine bay while the GTO hood is getting worked on..

now.. dont crucify me.. i cant find a local lemans hood.. and i need it in the next few weeks sooooo.....

my question is.. i found a cheap 69 chevelle hood...

would it work in place of my hood til mine is finished?

or does anyone know anyone in the ATL/GA area with a cheap/rusty lemans 68-70 hood?

if the size is right and the latch lines up it might work but it wont light up with the lines of the car obviously so you would have to try to see if it will bolt on or not size wise

I have a hood off of a 68 GTO if you're interested......price is right; free. I'm in Charleston, SC. It's in one pc., and has the "bend" that was repaired. You're welcome to it if you want to drive to get it...........Let me know.

The pull-a-part on Henrico road right off the southside of I-285 had a '69 LeMans out there the last time I was there...maybe a month ago. It was in good condition. Can't remember for sure if it had a hood or not but I think it did.
Also, I know a guy in Hogansville who has plenty of them. Hard to get ahold of him by phone though. You'd just have to go down there.

man id LOVE to have that hood Jimmy.. but the drive may be to long.

and i tried to call that hogansville guy.. to find out how to get to him.. he doesnt have an address to follow, greg.
