I have a bunch of info on a head change from a 308cfm E-head (88cc) to a set of out of the box (90cc), 360cfm at my .650 cam lift!!! CV-1's in my 76 T/A. Pump gas, hydraulic roller. It's located here. http://www.pontiaczone.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22196
You can sort thru all the negative crap and hassle then form your own opinions. I'm happy and not looking back. Only change was the heads and worth .3/.4 depending on the weather conditions taken into account. Last edited by PONTIAC DUDE; 08-08-2008 at 12:25 PM. |

Do not forget, a head change also may dictate a compression change.

Changed from 265 cfm #62 D-ports and a Warrior to High Ports and a Victor. Same carb, same cam, same exhaust system, but with round port headers. Compression went from 10.2:1 to 11.3:1 with the chamber size difference. Still on pump gas though.
Previous best - 11.45 @ 116 New best - 10.59 @ 124.5
