Hi,
Noticed over the weekend that the fuel level pointer on my standard cluster for 68 GTO is no longer visible with either the power on or disconnected. Is it possible for the pointer to fall off the shaft and drop to the bottom of the interior of the gauge housing? How difficult is it to remove the cluster or the gauge housing to fix the problem? How do I reposition the pointer on the shaft once I get it apart, so that it accurately shows the fuel level? I'm sure I'm not the first one to experience this problem; however, I do not recall ever seeing a threat that covers this situation. Thanks for your help. Mike
