Default RARE Factory Exhaust question...

I'm installing a set of RARE exhaust manifolds on my 455 http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=545844
does anybody have any suggestions for bolts, other than the ARP's that I've got? Thanks...

Grt the bolt set from RAM AIR. It has the correct bolt lengths and locks.

Talked to Paul @ RARE, there's a bolt set on the way, along with the flanges I paid for but never received...good thing I called, but I don't know why they wouldn't recommend buying the bolt set when you buy the exhaust manifolds? Oh well...thanks for the heads-up...

I bought mine from RARE 6-8 years ago. They came with bolts.

I used to work retail sales at a small music store, our customers would pay a couple hundred bucks for a drum machine only to hear "sorry, we need to order a power supply, that'll be another $20..." I was talking to the manufacturers rep, and was bitchin about that...and he tells me "but that's a way to make more money!" I looked at him and said "we sell that thing for $20, we buy it from you for $14, how much money do you think I'm making on that?!?! Why not up your price $10 and INCLUDE IT..." and he sits there with this dumb look on his face...

Same here. The round port RARE's that I bought in '05 came with the bolts. The only things had to specify as an add on were the flanges.
