Default Little Johnny is in trouble

It's 1991 and there's a 19 year old in trouble...money needed quickly for bail. The phone rings, it's Johnny on his one call from the pokey, "Dad can you bail me out?", "Sure son, I'll sell your car to raise the funds"..."umm WHAT?", "you want to sell marajuana, I'll bail you out with your money!, Rot away for a few days and don't drop the soap son!"

My phone rings, "hey dude, I know a guy who knows a guy who has a friend that knows where there is a 1970 GTO for sale cheap!." "let's go!"

Anyway here is what I bought for $1200

The engine was in the back seat, no pinion gear, 71,000 miles, and a JUDGE emblem on the glove box door! Mailed the VIN to PHS and confirmed the options, yep it's a certified Ram Air III Judge with an 8-track player! Fast forward 17 years and the $1200 paid off! As for Johnny I assume he made jail and never sold the "weed" again.

Man those Hercules tires bring back memories. I've not seen a set of those in years, A friend of mine had those on almost every car he owned back in the day.

Nice story. I have a friend that can tell one thats similar. He's has his 72 GTO since he was 17 and still has it today over 20 years later.

So have you driven it up to little Johnny's dads place with a weed eater in the back seat to show him that you put his son's weed money to good use?

Nice story. I'll bet that guy is still upset. I've had my 69 Judge since 1979 when I was 19, but I didn't do any drugs thank God.
