Default holley carb bowl bolts

Does anyone have a part number for a heli-coil kit for repairing a holley carb. main body where the fuel bowl bolts screw in ? Thanks.

When I get home I will find the box and post it up and in case you were wondering...I found out the the hard way as well! LOL FYI, the kit was around $80.

Couldnt you just get a heli-coil kit from the hardware store?

We sell the kit at Summit for $90.39. Part# Holley 26-2 . You can buy just the inserts under part# hly-26-3 for $22.99.

i am not sure if you can get it from a hardware store
i went through this last summer
PITA, sorta
however was easy to do
and haven't had a problem since
only one was stripped out

VERY soft threads on the body so they will strip easy

If you have a Carquest near you check them for a kit 12-24 coarse comes with 12 inserts the proper tap and install tool..

I bought mine a long time ago cant remember the price but i know it wasnt near 80.00 it was more in the mid 20.00`s

P/N on the package is cpf 49012

individual P/N`s are inserts 49039 inst tool 49093 tap 49066

Stripped out the threads in my carb also !! At Ace Hardware I got HeliCoil part number 5521-4. It does require a 17/64 drill bit, which they also had.
