Default Tire Size 68 Firebird

I'm currently running 60/225's on 15x7" rims with 4" backspacing on all four wheels. I'm thinking about going bigger on the rear. I'm thinking 60/255, but wondering if they will work with the current rims. Would 245's be a better choice? Anyone running 255's? What size rim and backspace?

Thanks for your help.

I have 255 60's and have JJ coded rally II's . I am not sure of the backspace of the JJ coded rims. I have multi-leafs and new shocks. No problems. The rims are 15 x7's.

If you want a nice size for your car try a 15x8 with 4.5" of bs. with a 275/60/15. That's what I have on my car......the pic is in my sig.
