smoke screen
basically , does engine oil give white smoke also when hitting exhausts? I know ATF does....
I have had this problem now for a year +_ while going 75-80 and giving some throttle , I get a smoke screen , like 007 would be proud of… I let off ,it goes away…driving 75 it does not appear..80it does sometimes...like a drip hits the exh. Had ATF drips in garage , so I was SURE it was it... had tranny worked over.... …but also started to see a front seal leak ( I had rear main fixed last year)… drove 250-300 mi+- Saturday and about 10 times or so I laid out the smoke screen (not nice for the ones behind me). I checked tranny for drips this am , didn’t see any ,but could have missed it...could still be , but maybe it’s the engine oil? I always knew tranny fluid gave white smoke as it hits exhaust (which this must be ,hitting exhausts ,at certain speed , wind tunnel effect?, I think that just abv 80 the turbulence drives the fluid to hit the H pipe?) could engine oil also give white smoke ,hitting exhausts? maybe its time to fix the front seal? opinions , pls... _________________________

I know engine oil is different color ,but thought that maybe that was coming from inside the engine ,not from outside of exhausts???.. of course ,fixing the front seal, may help anyway...lol

the smoke is white, the smell is ATF smell, burned ATF....my passenger said that after he got a whiff, Andy and Paul, both behind (wonder why?lol) said it smelled ATF
How about a leaky ,or cracked line or fitting(s) on a high pressure tranny line?? anybody had that? that would make sense to me.... modulator..? but its new ,was replaced during tranny re build , and its the same smoke now as before rebuild? tranny lines werent replaced...
