What did Lou use?
On last weeks episode of MUSCLECAR TV Lou was using a brazing rod to weld up some rust holes on the 67 LeMans he was working on. Did he use just a regular brazing rod or was it a special blend? I was sidetracked by my wife helping her in the kitchen and before I knew what he was doing it was to late. I have a 72 elcamino that has pits in several places and would benefit from that. Jim

Just use a standard gas torch brazing rod. They are brass as said above. If you have a gas welding torch you can do it with that or the TIG like he used.

Eastwood, Home Depot, Lowes and Tractor Supply sells them, cheap too, only a few bucks. I just bought them from Eastwood, but have yet to try them out.
