STOCK CLASS RULES
Q:
This is reguarding stock class racing ie: E/SA. Does NHRA accept casting of heads and blocks that are identical but from different years for stock class racing. |

They have a list of every head volumes allowed. But I can't open it. When you link look on the left menu for stock cylinder head volumes

You are only allowed to run head numbers that came in different years as long as the chamber CC and volumes match.. Same thing with blocks, yes you can use a 1973 (400 block) in a 1969 car and vise a versa... If your combo came with a 4X head, you can use one from 1971-1975 for an example.. Thanks for the info. I have built many cars in the past 30 years and always was intrigued with the blistering performance of the stockers. Seriously interested in building a stock class car. Again thanks for the info.
