Just had my 1961 Ventura radiator 4-cored with a high efficiency core and paid $400.00. Two years ago did my 62 and bill was $250.00. According to the radiator shop, sky high prices on copper account for the outrageous price increase. My advise is to start saving your old pennies.....

I got my 4-core built with High efficiency core for $300.00 about a year ago in the Cleveland area (Kaufmans, in Wickliffe). It all depends where you go but nothing and I mean nothing is cheap about restoration.

Guys, you had better get used to it. The price of metals is escalating steadily. China is consuming all available resource.

I can tell you that Butte, Mont. is thanking the Chinese for their voracious appetite for copper. Sucks for the rest of us, though.

I'm having mine converted to 4 core high efficient today. I should get it back tomorrow. $375.00. Price of copper/brass is way up.
