Thumbs up Carb recommendation for a mild 455??

I am ordering a carb today (hopefully) from either Jegs or Summit depending on which one I go with. My 455 has a mild cam in it. I will be running ram air manifolds, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and 6X heads bringing my compression up to around nine and a quarter, all mated to a turbo 400 tranny with stock 2:73 gears in the 10 bolt rear.
I am looking at the
Edelbrock Thunder AVS 800 CFM
Holley Street Avenger 770 CFM
Demon Road Demon 725 CFM

I want something that will give me the best power and be reliable without having to constantly adjust all the time if that is all possible in one carb..
Any help would be appreciated as I want to order this stuff right away

Personally, I would say the Holley. Get a extra bowl gasket set too.
Skip the Demon. They look good, but you will always need a screwdriver in your pocket to mess with it, I have 2 on the shelf.
I have heard good things on the AVS, but I have never tried it. Supposedly not needing to mess with it all the time, but you need to order the set up kit with it. Calibrate it the first time, pretty easy to maintain.
Good luck.

I would tell you that I just got a rebuilt Quadrajet from Cliff Ruggles and it was by far the best money I ever spent on my car. It took 8 months to get but it was well worth the wait! Car drives like it is fuel injected!

Check out QFT. Supposed to be a well made carb.

Thanks guys,
I spoke to Cliff, super nice guy..busy guy, lol He had a backlog of six months, so he recommended me to Jeff Walker here on this site, who follows Cliff's principle's and has been mentored by Cliff.
They both took the time to go over what would be best for my engine.
Cliff made the recommendation of which carb to go with.
I told Jeff and he agreed with Cliff, he was very personable and has tons of carb knowledge just as Cliff said he would.
We decided to go with a custom built 850 Quadrajet with an electric choke. I should have it to my door within two weeks. I am looking forward to having a carb tailored to my engine. I can't wait to be planted in that seat!!

Bobby,
You said it felt like it has fuel injection, is the throttle response that crisp?
