72 "Judge" on Ebay
Anyone see this?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ponti...QQcmdZViewItem Click on Additional Photo link - last photo shows sign that says PHS estimates there are 65 documented dealer installed 1972 Judges inthe country. That's the first I've ever heard of documented dealer installed Judges. Is this just some used car salesman BS? If this is BS, I would think PHS would want him/ebay to pull that photo and reference.

judge 72
i'm by no means an expert; but i read alot about gto's.
i have read that the judge ended in 71. also, not sure but wouldnt the judge have the top engine? 455ho? i have seen an identical car on a johnny lightning die cast blister package. but it had 455 decal on outsides of wing. looked like the same background. a guy in my town will soon be trying to pass off a 72 gto convertable. swears its real no matter what i tell em. buckets of bondo too. i watched the whole resto. he owes me a door. shame. if it apears on ebay i'll warn y'all 'cause it looks real nice. muckelangelo did the body work. |

They relisted it with correction to description:
...relisting this vehicle due to an error in the description and I apologize for it. The error in the description is that I stated this car is a documented dealer installed Judge. We do not have the documentation to support this. What I do have is documents from the Pontiac Historical Services certifying this car as a GTO.

Nice enough car, but it's not a Judge.

Doesnt matter what was added by the dealer (even if documented), it still isnt a Judge.

This car was discussed earlier on the Classical Pontiac forum and when the car was first listed, the dealer stated that he was told by PHS that there were at least 65 dealer installed Judges produced in 1972. The dealer caught a lot of flack about that claim and has changed his story since he found out that PHS doesn't list any dealer installed options.
