Default Neutral safety switch

Ii am putting a Chevy horseshoe shifter in my '66 Lemans. I am wiring using Ron Francis kit. The neutral safety switch has four leads. 2 for the neutral safety, one for the backup lights, and one that appears to go to a trans kickdown switch. What did the trans switch do, and do I need to hook it up? I'm running a 200R4 on my 400 Pontiac block. Help much appreciated.

Also, not sure which lead is for the backup and which is the mystery lead. I assume the forward 2 leads are the neutral safety.

One would think u should have 2 for nuetral safety and 2 for back up switch, (1 power to switch and 1 out from switch to lights.)
