I'd run the Crower 60243. It's just a step under the 60919 that's less cruise-friendly and needs more converter, but just above the 60916 which is a good cam for an automatic 400 but a bit mild for a 455.

I have the 2802 in my '69 with a similar set up to yours but with more restrictive exhaust manifolds. It's a good all around cam for street use with some track fun. It's pushed my 4100 lb. Lemans to low 13's with a 3.08 rear and 2500 stall.

I have the 60916 in my 455 auto. Bundles of torque but definately mild-pretty smooth idle that doesn't sound much different than stock.

Have the UD280/288 in a 455 with mildly ported 5Cs. Plenty of torque, great driveabilty and mileage is okay. RPM intake sometimes with a Qjet, other times with a 850 mechanical Demon. Mid 13s with 2.93 gears and a L88 type converter in a 4100lb 70 GTO.

Enough power that anything short of a slick just smokes with more than 1/2 throttle. Will roast a 275 65 15 at 35mph.

Have also run the 288/296. makes more power up top and still has a solid bottom end with ported heads. havent run it with stock ports.

have the 2802 in a 400, drives nice. Feels like a very mild cam to me, plenty of bottom end, soft on top.
