Default Edelbrock Classic finned TALL valve covers.

I finally got the word from Edelbrock that the Pontiac versions of these are now available. I like the looks, and supposedly, clears roller rockers.
Anybody tried them yet?
Where is the breather holes located? (middle or end?)
Too bad the only pic they put up is of course, chevy covers...

"Classic Aluminum Valve Covers
Edelbrock first made these aluminum valve covers in the late '50s and they're still a classic. Made of heavy-gauge, sand-cast aluminum, they have enough height to clear roller rockers. Breathers #4201 or #4211 can be added, if desired. The figure in parentheses is the height of the cover from base to top at the highest point.

1965 & later Chevy Big-Block V8 (3-1/2") #4185
1960-95 Ford 260–351-W (3-3/4") #4160*

I have been following these covers for almost a year now.

Last word I got from Edelbrock (3 months ago) was they are still in the "prototype stage."

If they are finally out, PUT ME IN LINE!!!!!

On another note, Cal Custom (through Summit) is re-releasing most of thier finned valve cover line. But, NO PONTIACS!!!

I just got off the phone with Manuel from Summit. He says, "3 maybe 4 weeks...." Edelbrock has pushed back teh date a few times.

He was kind enough to put me on hold and called Edelbrock to see if he could get some quicker. They were closed today for the holiday.

EDL-4130 full polished $203.99

Manuel said call back tomorrow and he would get ahold of Edelbrock.

On another note, you can still get Offy valve covers brand new from PAW and Exeter Auto Supply.
