This is a bit of a hodge-podge of parts, that I did not assemble all of it on my 67 gto. I want to go to a 69-72 set up, just to get the car running, driving, and stopping. I can only afford so much right now and would like to use stock stuff to retain my wheels, eventually I want to upgrade to four wheel disk. When I bought the car it came in boxs(first mistake, lesson learned) it originally had power drums, the previous owner had converted it to disk brakes. I was told they were 70s f-body spindles and rotors, no calipers and that I need to get tubular arms, it came with a set of stainless front brake lines, Not sure if drum or disk aplication or if it matters in this case. I installed the front crossmember line and front to rear line. I haven't put in the stock distribution block yet, but will be tommarrow along with the rest of the hard lines. I have the stock tie-rods and balljoints to install, I know that the spindles off a 69-72 a-body disk brake will bolt on, but I'm not sure about the lines and what proportioning valve or distribution block(driverside on frame rail) to use, what needs to be modified? Can I run the lines I have and just hook them up to the proportioning valve that is up by the m/c, Do I need to remove the valve by the frame rail, what about the soft lines? how do i modify the brackets the soft lines go to? Is it going to matter if my hard lines are for a drum brake car or disk equipped? should I scrap it and buy new lines? does anyone have another solution? I have looked through back post but not found any real answers maybe I missed it. I could really use some help here guys.

Do you have any pictures of the parts? Lots of the parts are interchangeable between different years but without pictures I couldn't tell you what works and what doesent. The brake hoses should work with the stock lines. The 68,69 and 1970 distrubution block is the same. I think a 1967 is made out of aluminum, the others are cast iron.

I don't have picture's but i will get some. as far as distribution blocks, I have a stock 67 drum brake block that I think is brass? located on the frame below the m\c, Do I plumb that into the stock disk brake proportioning valve?

The early cars did not use a prop valve. I have had 2 67 brake blocks and both were aluminum, not brass. The 66 and earlier cars use a brass block. I can tell you what you have if I can see some pictures.
