Oil dipstick tube replace?
The "flanged" area of the bottom of the tube is partially broken/rusted away.
Do I have enough flange to not cause any problems? (ie. Oil leakage, etc). The main purpose that I can see for the flange is to keep the tube from being pulled out of the block. Should I replace it or reuse it? (Tube on the bottom of pics) If replace, who sells that exact tube & p/n? Thanks! Rusty Morgan

It's out so I'd replace it, it's a press fit.Performance Years sells the exact replacements for cheap. They go in from the oil pan side.I use a bolt slid into the tube and lightly tap on the head of the bolt.
