Default Is It Real or Is It a Clone

How do I tell if the car I am looking at is a real '66 GTO or a clone. Is there a place I can go to input the VIN and body tag info.

Thanks,
Jim V.

We can help you out.. just give us the VIN and/or the dataplate info located on the firewall.. Pics of these would be very helpfull too. (to see if they've been tampered with.)

Go to http://www.gtoalley.com/
Has all the basic information on decoding VIN and data plates.
On a 66 GTO the first 3 letters on the Vin must begin 242
