I am looking for suggestions for rear shocks for my 69 Goat. Thanks!

Price & target use of the vehicle are deciding factors. If it's a street car, and no other suspension mods are present, KYBs are fine. If your shooting for handling, and you've done some mods, Konis are the way to go. I have Edelbrocks on my '71 right now, and they seem to be lasting well. They're a little choppy when they're in real cold weather though...

The car is a daily driver, pretty much stock! Don't want to spent too much, but will if need-to!

Go with the KYB GR-2 shock, it's good for a daily driver as well as affordable.

Koni. They are a it pricey (95.00/ea through Summit), but are warrantied for life and are adjustable.

Had the same issue with the Bilsteins, the bolt stripping. I've had KYBs, but they don't last very long. Think I got like 12k miles out of them, just hammered them right out. The 71 a-body I have EATS rear shocks, passenger side particularly. Liked the Bilsteins though, and run Konis on my F car, love those, but yes, pricey. I changed from the Bilsteins because the lower mount finally gave out. Like I mentioned, have Edelbrocks on the A now, seem to be lasting.

Oh, well now there's a good idea! Maybe I'll buy another set and do that before I install them! Hey, is that a 9" I see lurking under there? Good plan, did that on my F...

I used KYB Gas Adjust for my complete front end rebuild. I am very happy wit them. Good combo of quality and price.
