A number of years ago I purchased a number of items for 67/68 FB's. One of the items in my build up is a Muncie 4SD, 10 spline. Top Rt. side of case 3885010, Patent # 3088336, L/side EDGE of case 3918TT1 last three letters/numbers could also be 111, or 119. Left side cover plate 3884685. These are only numbers on case. Could any one tell me from the info supplied if trans is a M-20, M-21 . From what I have seen it does not not appear to be an old Rock Crusher.

Charlie, Thanks for the info on trans. My motor and chilton books did not give me the numbers for the units. A couple of my pontiac books had listings on the type of trans and their ratios but no other information. Thanks again,
Carl
