My rear brake drums are paper thin on my '59 Cat. Are there any later model drums that will fit direct or with backing plate/drum assy retrofit? Also how about the front drums and and maybe a disc brake retrofit?
Thanks for any help. DanC

I am in the same boat. Looking for some conversion to front disc brakes. If I find something I will let you know.

I have heard that some CHevy (GMC) truck drums will work on the rear but I haven't tried it. ( Then again, I think that was pertaining to using them on a 57 Poncho rear.)

My interchange book says '59-'63 Pontiac standard duty rear drums are the same, and '59-'64 Pontiac heavy duty rear drums are the same.
