I have a set of 670 heads, I think they came off a 1969 Judge I had but I'm not sure.
Does antone know where to get a list of head #'s. Also, where is the casting # on the motor? Thanks, ALAN |

Your heads came off of a 67 GTO, Bonnie, Cat,GP. The heads were on all 4bbl Pontiacs.
670's are preferred for HI po use. ------------------ Gatomon A car is cheaper than a girlfriend. Better than a wife. If it gives you trouble you can park it and forget about it!

67 was the first year for the 400. The casting number is on the back of the block on the angle leading up to the distributer hole. The ID number is on the flat pad below where the head mounts on the front of the block. The date is cast by the dist hole.
Beware: 67's have a cracking problem by the motor mount holes. Have the block checked. ------------------ Gatomon A car is cheaper than a girlfriend. Better than a wife. If it gives you trouble you can park it and forget about it!
