I just trial fitted a set of Headman Hustler headers on my '68 Lemans. With all the negative things I've seen on the boards in dealing with headers for Pontiacs, I was prepared for the worst. Absolutely no adjustments needed!! These are Headman Hustlers part no. 35130, round port with 1 3/4" tubes and 3" collectors. I run a 455 with E-heads. All the info that I have seen on these headers say that they do not fit cars with power steering. My car has power steering and there was no problem (not even close). The only thing I'll have to do is remove about 1/4" from the rear of the upper control arms because I'm running 2nd Gen F-body front spindles and brakes which moves the upper control arms in about 5/8". Couldn't be happier. By the way, took them to the shop to be ceramic coated this morning. I found a shop here in Tampa, FL that will apply the coating for $175, same material and warranty as Jet-Hot. Saves me the shipping.

How is the port match with the E-heads?

How much were they $$ ? Did you notice if they made a D-port version?

To answer you questions: These headers are round port and are a close match to a std. round port exhaust gasket. I didn't mention this before but these are much higher quality than the standard header. The flanges are 1/4" thick and are perfectly flat (no stupid "O" rings). Headman does offer a D-port version of their 'Hustler' header it part #35010 and has 1 3/4" tubes. This part number is supposed to fit 64-73 A-body. Again it works great on my '68. Cost is direct competition with Hooker Super Comps. I paid $393.99 from Summit, D-port might be cheaper. Summit doesn't stock these so they order them when you call. Only took two weeks to get mine. Headman offers other application and tube sizes in their Hustler series; Look in Aug 00 HPP under 'Headers to fit any Pontiac', they are listed there.
