I might be taking the Grand Am in for paint and was giving some thought into having either regular (solid or fade) flames or ghost flames. I would like to see some examples if you have any to share.

Thanks!

What color is/will be your car? Either way I am a huge fan of ghost flames. Anthony

Whoa! That is one hell of a flame job!!

Yveyant, my car is probably going to remain a medium light green. I would rather spend the money on the flames than a color change because it's not too bad of a color.

I am thinking I might go with a purple-blue tribal look with a silver or white outline, then hit the whole car with a pearl coat before clear. I have also seen green with orange flames that looks pretty cool as well.

personal opinion here.

if you're sticking with the stock green i'd start with a lighter color of green and fade it to a darker shade than the paint. then pearl just the flames in the clear so they flop but the rest of the car doesn't in different lighting.

trust me this looks cool.

If you like those type of paint schemes, be on the look out for Ride with Funkmaster Flex on MTV. My friend Louie is doing a car for his show now that will be done for Sunkist. It is orange and blue with ghost flames, same colors as on the can of soda. Car was just about done when I saw it two weeks ago. Anthony
