I have a Miloden pump on my 455..
It's really a GMP unit.. I've heard you can order em from Napa or Autozone.. I don't know the PN though.

I have one of the flow cooler (MADE IN JAPAN) and it didn't help mine,They have the stamped steel Blades not like the ones use on 455 from the factory. And from what I have seen this is alot of overheating problem.Cast iron curved blades were used on the 455 and stamped steel for other ones and when you get a rebuilt one from the auto parts they use the stamped steel ones.Anyone else hear about this issue?I will be ordering the CSI pump,I seen how it worked on Craigs car.

The Flow Kooler pump i have has the cast impeller not the stamped one. If you want some good info on the water pumps, click onto the Heating & cooling Forum, then click onto show topics for the last year. On page 2 a topic named Hot Running Engines will tell you all about the water pumps.

Thanks everyone. Any idea if that electric pump is good for a street car and NOT a race car? I had planned on doing a March Serpentine belt system also and I am not sure that electric pump will work with my set up.
Plus I am just gathering idea's for the time being. The car is a LONG way from being done. Hell, it's a long way from being started. LOL |

On the Flow-Kooler site they show the aluminum # 1649 pump that has the 8 blade cast impeller like the one i bought 2 years ago. The one i have also has the plate on the back of the impeller. They may have changed since then i don't know. I have read that some of the stamped impellers are better designed than others. http://www.packeton.com/flowkooler
