Ken has been racing with Pontiac Drag Days since our origins and since he opened Pacific Performance Racing, he has also been a sponsor. Ken is working hard to bring us Pontiyakers some new parts and is currently opening a new retail store front packed with inventory.

The racers and Competition Committee of Pontiac Drag Days thanks you for your support.

I wish he would note on his web page when parts he has listed are not made yet. Or, are not in stock. He's a great guy, but I've had problems when I've placed orders with him via his web page. IN fact, every time. So, I call for parts, but again some times what he has listed is not in stock. Or worse yet, not even made yet. And that takes time from people trying to plan engine builds. A simple note saying out of stock, not sure when available. Or, coming soon. My last attempt was to buy a new roller cam with the 4-7 swap. Listed with a price on the web page. And a set of the roller lifters. but when I placed my order. And never received a response, a call to him confirmed they were not yet made. So, send me the roller lifters, and after saying they were shipped, two weeks passed and I called. Not shipped, I was mistaken for someone else. I got them a week later and were fine. In the mean time I had to buy the cam and other items from other vendor. I would still use them, but be more insistent on the facts of the availability of items, before I count them and place an order. Time, is money. :)

Mike

Ken Built my 462, while I was deployed to Iraq. He was always willing to work with me, and is a first class dude. Couldn't be happier with the power, reliability, and quality of his work. A huge deal having him there for us stuck on the "left" coast.

Ace built my 455 bout 2 years ago and I couldnt be happier. Good communication through build and continued support after. Highly recommended especially on West Coast!

A great guy, he's given me tonsof free tech advice for years; when it comes time to rebuild my GTO, it's going to him.

He referred me to a business for a carb tune; said business was a complete tool. I called Ken (to give him a head's up, not a WTF); Ken was very apologetic and thanked me for the head's up.

Dealt with him twice. Both were great experiences and I'm on the east coast.

Another positive reference for Ken & PPR: I recently completed a performance upgrade on my 66 GTO's engine that includes KRE heads, Torquer II intake, roller cam and lifters, and Ace's well-engineered and inexpensive Tomahawk shaft rocker setup. Ken was very helpful on the conversion and had all of the parts that I needed to complete the changeover in stock. Ken is to be commended for continuing to develop competitive performance parts for our Pontiacs.

Thanks Steve for your buddy's phone number; it was very helpful to talk with him regarding his Tomahawk shaft rocker experience.

Ahem,
Bought a Tomahawk Manifold from "ACE" , was fine, yet he had a lisp.

Then,
Bought a set of 5140 Rods from "ACE", was super, they fit great & are working fine yet, he had a lisp.

Recently,
Bought a Tomahawk (Isky) Cam from "ACE", looks great, but his lisp is gone. All I can figure is that I changed cellphones. Great to speak with Ken Brewer & do recommend his products and APPLICATION ADVICE. HIS

Just bought a Tomahawk cam and lifters from Ken. He talked to me three different times before the purchase and gave me lots of good info. He is an easy guy to talk to. Only issue was no cam card in the box but he faxed one right away. When I get the engine together I will post the dyno results for the cam with my combo.

Spoke to him today for twenty minutes on the phone asking about a bottom end for my 455. Super cool guy, easy to talk to, and I hung up having already made my decision to send my $$ his way.

It was awesome that he took the time to answer the most basic of questions, and suggest parts that I needed, not overkill pieces that I did not.

Thanks!

Britt

Default Ken Brewer

I just bought a crankshaft from Ken on the advice of my friends at the Inland Empire GTO Club. I enjoyed our visit there and found Ken an honest and very informative man.
