Hi guys. I've been reading posts for about two days now and finally got approved to start posting. The 70 - 73s are my favorite and I've been working on a '70 RAIII I bought in Florida for some time now.
First lesson learned was don't buy a TA from Florida. Yep mine's a rust bucket. Matter of fact I'd like to post some pics of it and get some opinions on if you guys think its worth it to pursue restoring it or maybe I should part it and try again. I hate to let it go because it is numbers matching but right now I stand to replace:

- hood
- both fenders
- both 1/4s
- tail panel (like everyone else)

In truth if I pulled the body off the frame and had it dipped I'm sure there would be other areas that would need attention.

Anyway I also happen to tbe the webmaster for www.firebirdgallery.com. I encourage everyone to stop by and look around and definitely encourage the bird owners to submit some pics and info. I think its one of the better Firebird sites on the net but I'm biased. I also run a message board off the site that has had trouble getting started. Its the chicken before the egg thing. I need more people to participate to make it a good board but once people register they see their isn't a lot of posting going on and so then they don't participate.

I also have a LOT of old firebird books and a fair bit of knowledge, mostly on the 2nd gens so I'll try and help out as much as possible. Just hope to learn a lot here and get some help with my '70. I want mine to look like Street King's blue '70!!! Whew, what an awesome TA.
