i have a gm 10 bolt rear end and i beleive it is a nonposi unit. Is there a way i can tell if the clutches,or dirfferential is bad?

Do you have any Idea what year it is?
The application? Usually I'm found working on my Pontiac. If you want to find me Look for the white picket fence and all the old Pontiacs parked outside. And the half dissembled engine sprawled all over the driveway!

A non-posi will not have clutches.

Yep no clutches for a non-Posi and it will have clutches and a large S spring in the center of the gear housing.
Usually I'm found working on my Pontiac. If you want to find me Look for the white picket fence and all the old Pontiacs parked outside. And the half dissembled engine sprawled all over the driveway!
