My horn was stuck blaring this weekend, So I pulled the wheel off checked things out.
Under the wheel, there is the turn signal switch, this connects directly to the turn signal arm. The part underneath this, it has a small metal plunger type button, that the contact hits to activate the horn. It is made of plastic, but is not part of the turn signal plastic piece. The metal plunger seems to be spring loaded and is shot, I need to replace just the spring or the whole part. Not sure what it is called.

I think you are talking about the turnsignal cancelling cam. If the spring is colapsed it is probably the result of the horn sticking not the cause. If you can find a spring to fit you can just replace it.

The part you are looking for is a Horn Contact Kit and is available from our host. Just do a search on "horn" and then look on page two.

Don't do what I did and try to replace the spring with a steel spring from a ballpoint pen. The spring is a special spring made of copper and is part of the circuit. Steel springs will heat up and collapse after about 2 seconds.
