Some call em GTO stepchildren or Grandpa's GTO, but I know there has to be some sweet LeMans' and Tempests out there!!

Here was mine the day it was delivered. I still have yet to take a new picture two years and $18,000 later...

Mine - Info is a bit dated, 700r4 conversion is done, exhaust done, braking prop. valve rerouting and such is done, and the front springs have been changed out so front isn't so low.

[Mine - Info is a bit dated, 700r4 conversion is done...]

Did you have to do any alignment changes with the crossmember and rear axle in order to get the correct angle on the driveshaft? I put in a 700r4 last fall & set up the TV cable but still need to get the correct length driveshaft.

I did not do any alignment changes. The driveshaft more or less sat and still sits level. It's a bit shorter so it might be few tenths of a degreee stepper but nothing that would screw up driveshaft angles.

Here is mine when I bought it three years ago, http://www.kurtspontiac.homestead.com/Joes66LeMans.html I need to update the photo's. I have since added torque thrusts to it and replaced the top with a black top,and am currently rebuilding the front end and a disc brake conversion.

Thanks Joe,

We got a killer deal because of those doors and Dot really likes the car too. If we don't save some of the ordinary cars every one will think only "Muscle Cars" were built in the sixties. It was originally a much lighter blue I'm not sure yet which way we'll go on that.

Dan

I like the color it is now! I'd love to find a 66' wagon! Those are pretty rare now as well.

Another from the rear. Garage Queen upset the wife to put her Grand Prix outside.

JUST FOR FUN...
Ever since I found a copy of the May 66 issue I've always said it would be cool to try and replicate it
