HI I WAS TALKING TO SOMEONE THE OTHER DAY ABOUT PUTTING A REAR IN MY 63 LEMANS.HE SAID THAT KEN FROM EAST WEST COULD HELP ME.SO I SENT AN EMAIL TO KEN AND HE SAID TO USE THE SETUP FROM A 68 TO80 FIREBIRD IT WOULD BE EASY.HAS ANYBODY DONE THIS SETUP.AND HOW EASY IS IT.

you can, but I would use a ladder bar coilover set up rather than a leaf spring.

I would use a ford 9in with coliovers and ladder bars if I were you,easy to find,many gear ratios and EASY to change pumpkins.Disk brakes easy.I will be pulling a 12 bolt with ladder bars from a 63 lemans convert in the next month or so.3.55 posi.Will be putting in a narrowed early pontiac.Tom

I have a 63 421 SD coupe and the convert is getting a all alu pontiac motor with a ST-10.I also have a 63 alu front end 421 catalina.

I have to get the engine and trans in,will check out putting in the big car as I have 6-7 pumpkins to change diff gears.Should be a month or so,check back with me.Tom
