Grand Am fender emblems the same?
Have a few Grand Am fender emblems but one is different but looks the same with a different casting number. They look alike except for the mounting pins. Is the one with casting number 490627 reproductions?

They are both OE GM
The 490627 is 1973-75 front fender nameplate. The 9676369 is 1974 only trunk lid nameplate. 9657700 is for 1973 and 1975 trunk lid.

Few things worse than to muddy up your prized show car on a crappy, wet show field.

What looks the same is not the same. I noticed the locating stud is also in a different position. Thanks for the detailed explanation. Cleared up the reason why they are different.
