Default really nice 79-WS6-L78 car on BAT

There is currently a really nice 1979 Trans Am on BAT that some of you might appreciate being made aware of;

LINK

Unless I have missed something, it appears to be an original L78 (in 1979 this was the only way to get a Pontiac 400; required 4 speed) with WS6 & t-roofs.

Looks to be tastefully done.

I am curious on one thing;
I have understood that many areas which have emissions testing, the car cannot have an engine swap - or it at least has to be the same as OE engine, with all emissions devices present;
This one has none of that nonsense - does this limit bidding because of jurisdictions where this car would not pass the visual portion of the inspection?

Pictures added to thread for posterity.

I will be interested to see how this car does on BAT.

I was told by a few people that my car would not sell for as much as something like this would.

I guess the emission thing would be a knock for people in horrible states, but most states don't care about a car that old and it's emissions. I know here they don't. That said, I've sold cars totally custom with no emissions equipment whatsoever, and have sold cars all original with every single emissions system intact. Neither showed a favorable dollar amount one way or the other.

Looks like a nice car. I'll be interested to see what it brings.
