Default Ram Air exhaust manifold outlet repair

I have a set of 1967 HO exhaust manifolds that I’m running on my car and one had a problem with the outlet bevel rusting away, creating an exhaust leak. I was out of ideas as to how to get it to seal off so I brought the exhaust manifold to a friend of mine who also happens to be a great machinist and great all around mechanic. He machined me a repair collar out of aluminum that fits very tightly around the old outlet. You have to tap the repair collar on softly with a hammer. I have been putting miles on the car and no more exhaust leak. Clearly you probably wouldn’t want this on a show car but if you have a driver like I do, it works great. Just thought I would share a picture of the repair in case anyone ever ran into what I did.
