I am currently restoring a 71 GTO conv. and can use some better doors. Will doors from a hardtop also fit (What years?). Also will I be able to switch my power window mecanisms to theses doors. Thanks for the help!!!!!

The 70 to 72 doors should fit.I recently converted 65 catalina power window doors to manual and it was no problem as they were drilled for both. Hope this helps you some

'70 Pontiac A body doors are slighty different than '71-72's in the mirror holes. I'll measure on a '70 & '71 & post results later... Door power window regulators will be the same for 2 door hardtops & converts for all 70-72 A-bodys.

OPH...is the trim along the top of the door by the windows different on '70-72 Convertible from a hardtop car?I noticed that my door trim is different on my '69 LeMans Conv. and my '69 Hardtop!
